Christmas Eve Worship Service 2013

 

A Concluding Prayer by Pastor Mathew

 

Heavenly Father,

There are a few in this place who are outside of Jesus Christ; they are enemies of Christ the Lord. They are arrogant. They despise your Son. They are under your holy wrath.

They heard the gospel, and they celebrated this holy season for many years. They must soon die and leave this world to go to hell, which you prepared for the devil and his angels. I pray that you humble them, that they may surrender to your Son and be saved tonight.

The shepherds heard the gospel and were saved. The wise men came and were saved by Jesus, the newborn King. And we heard the gospel and you saved us. And we rejoice greatly today.

May Christmas 2013 be the time of salvation for those who are still outside of Christ. You gave your Son the name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins. Today we worship your Son with our whole heart and great jubilation! Amen.
