Romans_Vol2_FrontGood news! The second volume of Rev. P. G. Mathew’s exposition of Romans has just been printed. The Gospel Life is available online for $24.95. If you have already given The Gospel Freedom (vol. 1) to your family and friends, we encourage you to complete the sets. You may also obtain the two-volume set for $44.95. We have a special bundled pack of both Romans volumes, Pastor Mathew’s book on Acts (Power of the Holy Spirit), Muscular Christianity (Hebrews) and 2 copies of Good News for All People at the GVCC book table.

The Gospel Life covers Romans 9–16. Pastor Mathew first explores Paul’s anguish and questioning of why so many of his fellow Jews did not believe in Christ (chapters 9–11). That section ends with Paul’s exclamation of trust and wonder at the marvelous yet unsearchable wisdom of God in his dealings with his people. Then Pastor Mathew expounds on the practical sections of how those who have been so gloriously redeemed by Christ are to live in all their relationships, both in the church and in the world.
Finally, Pastor Mathew encourages all true saints of God by examining Paul’s greetings in Romans 16 to all the faithful saints in Rome. After reading this volume, we can only exclaim with Paul, “To the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.”

Think also about giving sets of Pastor’s books to other pastors, seminaries, libraries, and other institutions. A full set of Pastor Mathew’s works can be obtained as a set for a reduced price.

Consider this quote from Daniel Webster:
“If religious books are not widely circulated among the masses in this country, I do not know what is going to become of us as a nation. If truth be not diffused, then error will be. If God and His Word are not known and received, the devil and his works will gain the ascendency. If the evangelical volume does not reach every hamlet, the pages of a corrupt and licentious literature will. If the power of the gospel is not felt throughout the length and breadth of this land, anarchy and misrule, degradation and misery, corruption and darkness will reign without mitigation or end.”

May God bless our efforts to disseminate the gospel through these books!
